PUPS Check In is a web-based application used by participating provider organizations to send automated wellness check-in and satisfaction survey notifications to their clients. Provider organizations use PUPS Check In to stay connected with the people they serve between in-person interactions, gathering meaningful responses and surfacing concerns early.
PUPS Check In is provided by Willetts Technology, Inc. and is part of the PUPS Software family of products.
Provider organizations create and schedule check-in surveys within the PUPS Check In application. When a scheduled check-in is ready, PUPS Check In sends a notification to the client by email, SMS text message, or automated voice call, depending on what the client has opted into. The notification identifies PUPS Check In and the participating organization, and includes a secure link for the client to complete their response. No app download or account login is required for recipients.
Message types include wellness check-ins, satisfaction surveys, reminders, account notifications, service updates, and customer support messages. Message frequency varies based on the schedule configured by the provider organization.
Before enabling SMS notifications for a client, the provider organization is responsible for obtaining consent from the client or their authorized representative through its intake, consent, treatment, or electronic health record process. Within PUPS Check In, an authorized provider user enters the client's mobile phone number and enables SMS notifications only after confirming that consent has been obtained.
SMS recipients can reply STOP at any time to opt out and will receive no further text messages. Recipients can reply START to opt back in after previously opting out. Recipients can reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of services.
